2008 Stop Press - Farmsale

Hi Everyone

You may notice in the coming weeks in the farming press that Turnberry Farm is on the market. This is correct and no, we haven’t lost the plot! Rather we are working towards an opportunity that’s come up over in the Manawatu.

As most of you are aware, we have our office over there, the children are schooling there – so a natural progression to re-position the farming business a bit closer.

It hasn’t been an easy decision because Turnberry Farm is a very special property and extremely well setup. However, we believe the time is right to have a crack and hence wanted to personally inform you what’s happening.

Ram selling is just around the corner, so look forward to catching up with you all soon. I hope all your docking etc. has gone really well. Spring certainly seems to have arrived this year for a change which is great!

Obviously still a lot of volatility out there in the financial markets, but the stars seem to be lining up finally for us farmers!
