Newsletter 2014 Xmas
It’s Christmas 2014 ... and the end of another wonderful year.
Amongst the chaos of ram selling we have taken some quiet time for a reflective look over the last few years of our life ... and have come away with one word that seems to sum everything up well ... GRATITUDE.
Several years ago we experienced the hard side of business and everything fell apart...Bank managers appeared suddenly, friends disappeared and some family ties became stressed. Strangers stepped up and offered help. Everywhere we looked, we found ourselves and our life, tied up with this business that was taking far more from us than it was giving ... we were very busy, stressed and the joy was dying quietly inside.
Now we are not alone in this, and we know many others have experienced their own challenges, and we know the strength required to find a way through. It’s from this challenge, and the inner reserves of strength and focus to follow through, that has brought us to this point.
Yesterday a deer came into the yards and hung out with me and the sheep ... totally at home. Something like this has never happened to us before and more and more amazing things like this are happening as we continue our experiment with Conscious Farming. We almost sold out of the business after our Aussie expansion collapsed, we finally decided with some good support and a new focus, to hang in there ... and we are so glad we made that choice now.
As we see our animals as part of our extended family and offer GRATITUDE for how they support our lifestyle, they seem to flourish and radiate good health. We can give you a list of the outstanding growth rates, awards we are winning, and satisfied clients BUT really the "wild" deer wanting to hang out with us, and our "extended family", says it all.
Our children have benefited from our new focus and direction also ... and they are offering us the best gift of all ... they are now telling us stories of how focus, clarity, visualisation and intentional creation, are showing results in their worlds also. What a blast that is ...
We are left in wonderment and GRATITUDE as we hear the stories, and see the results, our clients are experiencing with their flocks. As we catch up and enjoy time with clients, who have become friends, and when new clients arrive from recommendations and through our newsletters, everything seems to flow.
That sums it up ... our life, our children, our business has come into a state of FLOW ... naturally things happen out of the blue and plans go astray, but now these type of events don't create more that a momentary ripple that quickly settles. The new skills and practical techniques we have applied, have changed our lives, our business and set our children up for their future.
We have been exploring, from this place of GRATITUDE, how we might give back to the wider community some of the benefits we have received. We have decided to use a % of our yearly ram sales to bring our Business and Life Coach to the Manawatu (and working on coming to the South Island as well!) for a week every year ... and offer his services to all our clients, friends and family, free for that week.
All you have to do is book your space at an evening talk, choose which practical workshop appeals or apply for the limited 1:1 coaching sessions. Yes that's it...you choose what interests you and WE PAY....GRATEFULLY.
